I Am Absolutely Loving The Firefox BETA Web Browser Thus Far & All The Different Settings & Security Features Available, But There Is Either A BUG, Or A Feature That Is Just Missing (for whatever reason) That I Feel Is A MUST HAVE Added Feature & NEEDS To Be Added, Implemented, & Supported Immediately For Users With Disabilities Such As Myself. I Am A U.S. Army Combat Veteran & Lost My Hands In Combat Due To An I.E.D (roadside bomb) & I Rely On Voice Texting To Be Able To Send Messages, Search, Stay Connected With My Community & Friends Online, & The Ability To Even Use A Smartphone Device With Relative Ease. The Gboard Functionality & Ease Of Use Along With The Instant Translations Of Languages , & Audio Translation Features Make My Phone Use Pretty Much As Good As Someone Who Has BOTH Of Their Hands Still. I Love Everything About The Extensions & Added Safety Features With Firefox & The BETA Is My GO TO Web Browser From Now On & That Will Doubtfully Ever Change. But, The Missing VOICE TEXT Will Definitely Change That Decision If It Is Not Implemented Soon, I NEED That Feature & Without It Then The Web Browsers Added Security Is Completely Useless For Me, Because I Won't Be Able To Work The Device On My Own Anymore. Just Like Now.... I'm Now Relying On My Wife To Type & Send My Messages For Me Due To The Missing Voice Text Capability, Which Is Just Not A Preferred Method Or One %hat Ik Willing To Stick With Permanently. She Doesn't Have Time To Take Care Of My Online Social Matters For Me & I Refuse To Ask Her To Do Such. So With That Being Said, Either Mozilla Firefox Needs To Add A Voice Texting Capability To It's Browser Settings Within The Veta Or Else I Will Be Forced To Discontinue It's Use. I Mean, Am I Just Over-Looking Some Sort Of Extension, Add On, Feature, Setting, Or Am I Right & There Isn't (me Available, Because I Prefer To Use The Gboard Due To It's Outstanding Functionality & I Noticed Anytime I Open A Tab Or Access The Firefox Beta Web Browser & Attempt To Either Search For Something, Or If I'm In A Public Chat Setting While Using The Browser, Then The Microphone 🎙️ & Voice Texting Capability & Logo Completely Disappears From My Gboard Keyboard & Is No Longer Accessible For Some Unknown Stupid Reason...??? I need to find appointments in my Calendar...however, when I open the "Find", it only allows messages and contact searches. Is there another way to search the Calendar?

This REALLY shouldn't be this hard. Created a TB profile backup (see subject) from my LAPTOP. Copied it to c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\thunderbird\profiles on DESKTOP. Trying to open TB, I get error: Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible

Must be something I'm doing wrong. Been on the interweb for 2 hours trying to get this accomplished. Tried everything I could find. Unsuccessful. Can someone help?

As an aside, c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\thunderbird entry is MISSING from my laptop. Can't find the profile directory. TB opens fine on the laptop, so profiles directory is available to TB, but NOT to me. Where would the profile directory be stored on the LAPTOP?

So, now what the heck is happening to FF???? I have contacted HF three times and they referred me to use other browsers other than FF. No, I DO NOT have multiple extensions nor themes. FF is bare bones but for uBlock. Hardware acceleration is off and MS Clear type is on. Anybody wanna fess up, who broke this????

I got a new PC and tried to import my Firefox bookmarks. But on the right side menu when you click bookmarks, it only show recent ones which actually aren't recent at all. How do you get that selection to show all of the bookmarks instead of recent?

Also I'm still getting a prompt underneath the address box to manage bookmarks and I can't get rid of it. How do I clear that out?

I am trying to change my browser from Chrome to Firefox. I am having trouble importing bookmarks etc. When I select the versions to import, only one option from Chrome is displayed in the list - it's the version/setting of SOME years ago. What can I do to import current bookmarks?

I was searching on Firefox and encountered a pop up “your iPhone has been hacked” and an ‘OK’, which you are encouraged to use based on immediate attention being required.

      This pop up has frozen my app and I cannot close this tab nor can I access any other tabs I have in use. Troubleshooting tried- closed the app several times and also turned my iPhone off and back on and get the same result. I cleared my website search history and use the following security’s settings:  prevent cross tracking, Hide IP address: (from) trackers and websites, fraudulent website warning, not secure connection warning. I am using the iPhone 14 Pro Max and am running on the most current iOS: 18.5. These settings are for safari . 
      Has anyone experienced this situation and know how to close the hacker message tab and what else one might need/want to do in response to this pop up? 
      Any advise would be most appreciated!

Firefox cann't use microphone in my android 5.1 device. But a camera work perfectly (after confirm allow in a pop-up with asking "if you want to share your device’s camera and microphone with that site.") FireFox detect microfone as "default input device" but it doesn"t work. In a special sites that can test a work of the microphone, drop down list of the detected device (in the Firefox) contains only one item "default input device" and microphone doesn't work. In other browsers (Chrome), вesides this "default input device" that drop down also contains other items and microphone work perfectly I need to use microphone in Firefox for web version of a messenger that doesn't support in ohter browsers and apk on this android device

I just finished using my printer. When I came back to print something else, it wouldn't print. Got this error code.

I did what it said: checked the connections, etc. I even changed out the printer with another one. Same problem.

How come only on firefox does it show youtube's views, likes and subscribes number value look like an old mechanical odometer? See attached image to see what im talking about.

Does anyone know how to disable it so that it just shows the number plainly and not this weird thing?

Back around February (2025), the full screen mode by pressing F11 quit working. Clicking the diagonal two pointed arrow in the application menu didn't do it anymore either. Both actions only toggle the bookmark bar. I've tried reinstalling, and waiting for further updates. So far, still no luck. I've since moved on to using another browser, since I often want this feature. Does anyone have the same problem or know how to fix this?

I had the Capital One Shopping extension show up on my extensions list, I think from maybe a misclick while checking out online, and so I uninstalled it yesterday on my laptop because it was slowing my browser down and throwing annoying popups. I didn't and don't trust an extension like this with my browsing data. So I was concerned today when I pulled up a Firefox window on my desktop PC (same Firefox account) and a second tab opened up automatically with the Uninstall Survey for this extension. I filled that out yesterday when I uninstalled the extension. I checked, and the extension has been uninstalled--it no longer appears on my extensions list on any device. I assume that it's just that this is the first time I've opened Firefox on the same account on a different device, and Firefox is somehow repeating the prompt to open the survey tab. But I've never had this happen before and I don't love that it's a tracking extension that did it. Do I have anything to be concerned about here? Or is this a normal fluke of Firefox accounts on multiple devices and not the fault of this extension?
